My Three Wishes

I've been on a bit of a break from SL recently. I still logged in a bit but not nearly the amount I normally would. I've been focusing on RL a lot. This is the first day I've had the time and need to sit down for a while. You know I can't miss Monday Meme even if I am a day late!

No pictures today sorry!

Topic of the day: My 3 Second Life Wishes!

1. I wish tier was more affordable.

I really want a sim. Pretty bad actually. I know this is a big one for a lot of people. Hubster and I have talked about owning our own sim for a long time. We just have never been able to do it! One, we don’t want to spend that type of money. Two, is we did we would probably have to invite other people just to afford it. I think this is really hub's dream projected onto me. He went in the open source grid and set up a HUGE spread. I think it was like 8x8 sims or something. It sucked not having all of our awesome stuff though! I made myself a blue skin to import and ran around naked. Fail!!!

2. I wish servers allowed an infinite amount of people.

This is a sore topic for me. Let me tell you a story: There once was a budding princess who dreamed of beautiful hair. Her favorite wig shop was having an amazing sale! All the other princesses in the land were invited except for her... Oh wait. My bad. This is a true story. Seriously I have NOT been able to get to the Truth Hair Sale. AT ALL. I am so annoyed by this. It's been over a week. I've tried going to Truth District and all different times of day. Nada. I hate when this happens and we all end up ramming sim walls to get in. I'm always that loser who misses out and never gets in.

3. I wish I could take a decent photograph.

My photography seriously sucks. Probably about as much as my editing. I always look at tutorials and try to execute what I've been shown. It never works. I actually have a really good computer do. It was specifically built for me to play in SL. I just don't have the eye. That and most tutorials are for photoshop. I don't afford that so I use GIMP. HELLLLPPPP

Oh.. Bonusssss *DING DING DING* You've won another wish!

4. I really wish I had some friends. Real ones.

I miss having a group of people I talk to on a regular basis. I have exactly one person who IMs me at least 3 times a week. Good person with one minor set back. It's a dude in a female av. That's cool I don't care. But sometimes I wish I had a female friend I could share things with. Sometimes I just need to talk and I dont have anyone. To continue sounding emo.. I am sooo alone. Sometime I feel like if I just closed my store, shut down this blog and left SL no one would even notice or care.

Boo hoo.

On the flip side of things the recent meme on why we blog inspired me to finally start my RL blog. I've been documenting the progress of my journey to a healthier me for the past week. It's something I always wanted to do but felt was pointless. I started her up after I passed my 40 lb loss so far. I have a waaaaay long way to go, but I'm doing it- and I'm, doing it RIGHT. Not that any of you care about my RL haha. Amazingly though? I already have a stream of readers and commenters. I have about 3/4 the amount of followers I have here and I've had this blog for almost 2 years. I also have a handful of non- following readers, comments and "likes". I was absolutely shocked by the outpouring of support. So that's where I've been :)

Until sometime laters! Hugs!

Why do I Blog: An Monday Meme

Meme instructions: Copy and paste the following questions and answers to your post, delete my answers and input your own. Try not to swear at Berry in your head for having so many questions this week and don’t forget to leave a comment in this meme’s post so others can come by and read your answers as well!
  1. How long have you been blogging? Since July 2011
  2. Why did you start blogging? The fall before the magazine I had worked for closed. During my time as a writer there I found I was able to really let myself go and vent sometimes. I had held hope of the mag coming back, but it didn't. I really wanted a way to express myself, vent and connect with others. So I decided to join the mash of blogs!
  3. How many times a week do you post an entry? That varies. When I have a lot to say and show I could blog every day. Other times I just need a break or have nothing new to post so I shut down for a while. With these Monday Memes I've been able to at least get one a week!
  4. How many different blogs do you read on a regular basis? A lot! I have a standard set of blogs I enjoy on fashion and freebies, but I am also in love with story blogs! The mnore I read entries from other memes the more I 'collect' other blogs. This is pretty much true for RL as well.
  5. Do you comment on other people’s blogs? Occasionally. Most often I'm shy about it, But When I feel something I do try to show it. Same goes for RL. I wish more folks would reach out and connect.
  6. Do you keep track of how many visitors you have? Most often, I do. It's pathetic but I get a thrill out of knowing people actually READ what I write. It's nice to know that I'm not just out here talking to myself sometimes.
  7. Did you ever regret a post that you wrote? Sometimes. I know there are times when I rant in anger or may write something snarky. Sometimes I'll feel guilty afterwards. Most often I'll start to write a blog like that and never actually publish it. It let's me vent without actually exposing my insane qualities to others :P!
  8. Do you think your readers have a true sense of who you are based on your blog? Who knows! People see what they want to see.
  9. Do you blog under your real name? I did a long time ago. I was having a lot of high school angst and dealing with my mom's illness. I needed an escape outlet. There are times I wish I could find that blog again. As for now I only blog under my Second Life name.
  10. Are there topics that you would never blog about? Some, I'm sure. I try most not to disrespect anyone. I also try to avoid topics I can't connect with. If I don't "feel" it, it's hard to be truthful.
  11. What is the theme/topic of your blog? Uhmmm. I guess Second Life too. I mean everything within the blog has to do with something in SL. I rarely write about RL so.. yeah. OKay then!
  12. Do you have more than one blog? If so, why? Nope! I've been debating something in RL but not yet. I sometimes find there is too little of me to spread around as it is.
  13. What have you found to be the benefits of blogging? It’s helped me connect with others! I'm met a lot of people and found a lot of places I probably never would have otherwise. It's let me expand as a person as well!
  14. So, why do you continue to blog? I ask myself this a lot! There have been a lot of frustrating times that I came close to throwing in the towel. But there's always something to say or share.

This is actually a pretty decent meme to bring up a topic I've been trying to bring up.

In the past few weeks I've been getting a lot of traffic. I love this. It makes me feel good to know someone out there is reading my words. I never think of myself as a writer or a photographer- Heck I'll be the first to admit I pretty much stink at it. SO it makes me feel all happy inside that even one person bothered to read something I put out there, let alone came back for more! OMG.

That being said, I've noticed an increase of...I guess requests is the best way to put it. I'm loving that people want to consider me for review copies and events. That is SO awesome. I'm really honored to share in other's excitement! There is, however, one type of notice I don't love as much. I've been getting a LOT of people who send me random IMs. A lot of them want me to read their blogs, give them free items from my store without going through the proper channels or sell me advertising. I'm all for finding new blogs. I even love giving bloggers items I've made. I have rules about how I do it and an IM out of the blue from someone I don't know with a list of items is NOT how I do things! I also don't like being targeted in some free advertising scheme though. New bloggers need all the help they can get but I find it uncomfortable when someone sends me something like "I want you to subscribe to my blog. Please read me". This feels like begging and it makes me NOT want to read someone's blog.

So.. I guess what I'm trying to say is... Please feel free to connect. Please feel free to consider me if you think we are truly a good fit. Please don't beg me. Don't beg to sell me items or advertisements. If I want them I am capable of finding them on my own. I don't know. I hope that came out okay. I don't want to offend people, but it needs to be out there. okay. Yeah. Until next time lovelies!

I Kanou- DO you?

I was recently introduced to a new (for me) store called Kanou. If you haven't had the chance to stop in I would recommend doing so soon.

Kanou, formerly DK Designs, is a fun girly store with quality items at fair prices! I'm always excited to try a new place I haven't been, so when given the opportunity I did just that. From what I discovered- Kanou kept some of the dresses from it's former name, and added tango appliers , as well as some new designs! If you are at all familiar with the old DK Designs and wanted a bit of an update- this is your chance.

The new release Eva is absolutely adorable! I actually ventured out of my hidey hole to show this one off , so you know that is pretty high praise from me! This dress pretty much blue my over-long winter blues out of the water. Hello cuteness!

The Eva dress is of course mesh. It comes in standard sizing. There are 6 color combinations available- so you should be able to find one that suits your mood! I am showing off the Kanou Eva- Blue/ Red in Medium. I LOVE the fabric they used on this as well. The playful floral pattern is super cute! The dress itself runs for 150L So overall not a bad snag!

If you don't have any Lindens handy- never fear! Currently there is a super cute, flirty top available to new subscribers!

I love this Grace top! It's a whole bunch of sexy without being over the top. The mint color is perfect for spring. This top is system with added attachments, and of course it's free to subscribers! I paired it with my high waist shorts from {fd} @ C88 that I mentioned a few posts ago- perfect pairing.

As I mentioned above, this store is Tango friendly so for those of you who are into that this is a fun new place to check out! I hope you all will take the time to stop in! I also grabbed the Kanou- Ciara in Purple. It's a super sexy made outfit and bustle. SL started acting up on me so I wasn't able to snap a picture- but I will try to soon! You should go see it for yourself. It's a little bit dark and sexy and a little bit burlesque. Rawwr. What are you waiting for?!

Note: Eva dress was given to me as a promotional item. I however always give a fair review

Behold: The One Skin Wonder!

In fact, I've the same skin for over 2 years now.
I know. I knooooow.

Most fashion bloggers or SL bloggers are in constant change mode. Different hair, different skin, different shapes. Not this gal. I think I am afraid of change. I'll admit that even I was a little shocked by my skin revelation. Granted I've worn said skin in different shades over time but it's been League all the way for me. It's actually entirely possible it's been longer than I think, too. I can only document/ remember as far back as my first blog entry in which I wear the exact same skin as I do right now.

It's not that I don't love skins. I do. I've bought hundreds, heck I've even been given some for reviews or personal opinion. Some were aweful. Some were beautiful. But none of them were ME.

This is ME!

I recently went on a skin haul. I've been feeling a little out of sorts lately so I figured it was time for a change. I spent a while tweaking my shape. I generally only do a few facial feature changes because aside from sometimes feeling too thin- I like my SL body. My face is always up for a little change though. After what felt like forever I felt I was done. Whenever I change my shape I tend to compare before and after. Wouldn't you know it looked almost EXACTLY the same. *sigh* I guess I like what I like. Anyhow my skin haul was pretty much an epic failure. I went around grabbing demos and cheapies from places I know and like , and even some I didn't know so well. I even unearthed a few I'd grabbed recently but never really tried. OMG.

I either looked like I had too much Botox.

Or a bad facelift.

Or a flushed..glow?

Or my personal fav... the too high... .

I seriously can NOT change my skin. I've tried. Everything looks too insane. I've tried wearing most of these and tweaking my shape into something usable but it never hits the spot. I prefer a natural skin (no makeup) as I like to add my own. I find a lot of skins look overly highlighted or way too flat. The search continues!

FYI: There were 2 demos in the bunch. I smeared out the demo part so as not to totally piss off any designer. The skins are all nice on their own- They just do not work for me!

Are you a one skin wonder too? Have a suggestion? Let me know!

Also please excuse my lighting. I didn't realize I had a lamp on until after I finished. Oh wellll

Say my Name- Another SL Meme

It's meme time! If it wasn't for Berry I would have nothing to chat about this week. Yikes! Pull up a chair and let's get too it, shall we?

Meme intructions: Copy and paste the following 8 questions and answers to your blog post, delete my answers and input your own! Don’t forget to link your post in this meme’s comments so everyone can read yours!
  1. What’s your SL name? Khloe Nitely
  2. What made you choose this name? I get this a lot actually. Most people assume one of two things: 1. I chose Khloe for Khloie Kardashian, 2. I chose my name as some off beat tribute to Keira Knightley. Actually, neither of these are true. I'll be clear in saying I chose the spelling of Khloe before I had any clue who the tv chick was. When I was choosing my name I originally spelled it Chloe. Then I got to thinking I wanted something more fun. I played with a lot of names and even looked up lists of female names. I decided on Khloe because it was cute and more fun than my RL name. Nitely was the better name on the list of names chosen. It just happened I guess.
  3. What’s your SL nickname, or what do most people call you? (if applicable) I don't really have any nicknames- most people just call me Khloe. However, people do have a major issue with actually SPELLING my name. I actually have something about this in my profile. "It's K-H-L-O-E. Not Khole, keyhole, kole, kloe, chloe, khlow or even kleo"- This will make me hate you if it becomes a regular thing. I don't mind being called Khlo or Khlo Khlo though...
  4. What’s your SL display name? Why do you choose to have one? (if applicable)Khloe Continental - Hubs last name. eh why not!
  5. Do you like your SL name? For the most part ,unless I get spammed with people who want to RP as Kardashian's (CRINGE).
  6. If you could change your SL name, what would it be? I wouldn't. That's what alts are for!
  7. What’s the craziest/funniest SL name you’ve ever seen? I had friends once that had the names Bangsem Nitely and Banger Nitely. I know there are better ones out there but those for some reason always stick in my head.
  8. What’s the coolest (your favorite) SL name you’ve ever seen? Lyrical Composer. I never actually met the person just passed by them while trying to find a new avatar name a long long time ago. I don't know why but I always get drawn to pretty names.
That's all folks! Until next weeks meme..or I find something cute to show you!

As for my look? I've been having a hard time finding just the right thing in SL lately. I guess it has to do with my RL. It's confusing it should be spring yet it's been snowing every day. When it isn't snowing it gets sunny but is still freezing. It's messing up my mojo! I want to think spring but my body is telling me to break out the winter duds.

I decided to roll with a casual look since I've been spending a lot of time at home recently. Khloe without a million make-up layers. Oh lawd, shield your eyes ya'll!

Hair: Analog Dog- Wound Up- cacao
Open Shirt: {fd} Button Shirt Open - Grey- Medium (C88)
Bra: Izzie's - Mademoiselle Bra red

Excuse me... Your Ego is SHowing.

I'm sorry. I need to vent this. If you aren't interested then move on. Fashion-y posts to come tonight or tomorrow :)

I had an incident  in SL today. In many ways it was pretty minor, but in a lot of ways it spoke directly to one of my biggest pet peeves- Overinflated Egos! I'm not going to go ranting names and events and groups. It was just one of those things that made me first feel annoyed and then I just felt...small.

I belong to a "group" you could say that works in events and promotion. The recently changed their HQ and were asking designers to come in and set up their items. When I first joined they were out of room so I was unable to participate. I saw this change as my chance to get in. I'll admit I was excited and anxious not to miss out again. I don't really get out there with promotion for my store so something like this is a big deal. I gathered everything they asked for and teleported to the location. I was getting ready to contact someone like it said when I noticed one of the main folks, one of the contacts, was there. She was finishing with someone up so I stood there and waited for an opening. I saw exactly how she did the set up with this girl. She even sent the transaction to let her know her item was correct and she was done. The chatted a moment so, still, I waited. I noticed that many of the vendors were already set to be sold so I piped up to ask if it mattered where I chose to put my item. I was told a specific location, but I already began to feel like I was intruding. I chose my spot and attempted to "buy"the vendor. After a few attempts I realized the vendor bad been set wrong. I attempted to point this out and that's pretty much hwere things went south. By the short clipped response I received it seemed like she was daring me to correct her. I really wanted to get my item set up so I attempted to point out the reason WHY I couldn't set up. When someone speaks down to me it's not only rude but it drops my overall opinion of them. This person types to me.. as if perhaps I'm stupid or slow, "You have to BUY the vendor". I knew this. I'd DONE this but again I had to point out that if it was set to sell contents I couldn't possibly by it. This type of conversation went on for a few more minutes with her either not understanding me or not paying attention. I don't know. Perhaps she wasn't interested in being the one at fault here. During this time I tried to point out my issue 3 more times. I guess by now I was butting into the conversation she was having with the other girl. Finally the other person there piped up and attempted to point out that I was indeed correct. I kid you not, she typed the EXACT same response I had been saying the whole time. Suddenly Event runner was all "Oh. DUH! Why didn't I see that". I had to facepalm in RL. Had we not just wasted a good 10 minutes on this and she had basically ignored me and talked down to me?

I was shaking my head in RL and pointing this whole thing out to my husband in disgust. He got me pretty riled. Why was a standing for being treated like crap. I really was disappointed that she so clearly didn't give a rat's behind about what I had been saying. If she had bothered to drop the superior attitude for a second it would have been a stupidly easy fix. Was it really worth standing there wasting my time and being treated like my items weren't as important as another designer? I'm ashamed to say I still set up. I did. I need exposure and I really wanted to be a part of something. I quickly set up- I didn't want to ruffle any more feathers. Then I announced I was set up and waited. I was supposed to have my vendor checked and be given the Okay. I saw the other girl was told this and even got a copy of the transaction in general chat. I stood there like an idiot waiting. I even reread the notecard to make sure I was good- I was. Meanwhile event runner and other designer were chatting about something else. I asked a question on the status of my store and other designer piped in to question hers as well. I was completely ignored by event runner. She responded to the other avatars questions and never did tell me what I was supposed to do. Shortly after this while in mid question to her she left. I stood there a little dumbfounded. Had I really been so easily and readily dismissed?

Maybe it's an over reaction but this whole event.. or non-event really rubbed me the wrong way. This is a group I've been involved with nearly as long as I have had my store. On more than one occasion in the past I had felt brushed off in lieu of something bigger and better known than me. Why do some folks in the fashion or event planning of SL get so big headed. Why are we constantly putting up with bad attitudes and rudeness? I really am guilty of this. Sometimes I stand for people giving me hell just to.. belong?

As bloggers and designers have you dealt with this a lot in the past? It seems as though it's only getting worse as time goes on.

S.O.S: Accidentally Naked

For real. Just an FYI this isn't a NSFW post and it's not even much of a fashion post.

It's an SL HATES ME post.

Are we expecting an update or something? Seriously, It seems like just before any updates SL tends to go tits up for me. I've been having a lot of random little issues, but today takes the friggin cake. Over the past few weeks I've had to reset ALL my settings back to default after things stopped rezzing and my awesome computer had SL running SO slow I knew something wasn't right. After my reset things seemed better. I was super excited because I could actually see my entire house. I still have no idea what caused all the crazy that I was seeing. One day I walked around looking like a pixelated rainbow. Everyone else saw me as normal but I saw myself all sorts of wacky. Another day I walked around with my Avi bent in half with my head up my bum (maybe the Lindens were trying to give me a sign?!). I don't actually know why stuff like that happens. Before you ask, my PC is pretty kick as$, it by far exceeds any of the requirements to run SL. It was updated less than a year ago- everything got upgraded.

Anyhow, today things are just all sorts of insane.Early this morning I logged on to a super slow world. As most of our sim is currently empty I usually NEVER have lag issues. This morning was so laggy upon log in that I just gave up. Coming back later, I decided to do some window (demo) shopping. My demos and clothing were having NONE of that. No alpha layers would show up and I got a ton of error messages that were pretty much useless. My favorite one was "Unable to rez object (object key) for the reason below" . Do you want to know what it said below? "Try back later". Sure, uhm... good reason? Every time I re-log I come back as a puff ball and have to remove everything- including changing my shape and skin. I cleared my cache a few times. *throws her hands up in their air*

So right now I'm naked except for a random hair base, and pasties. I even tried system clothing. The only part of my shirt that showed up was the lower jacket portion. Nothing shows up from my neck to hips. My skin looks like a smear.  Aside from the pasties and hair base all tattoo layers show up grey.

(I took this picture in 2011 for my first ever article in Pure Magazine! I think it pretty much captures how I feel about SL right now.)

Do ya'll have these issues? Are you having anything even more bazaar happen to you? Feel free to sound off in the comments! I like to know I'm not the only cast away on this sinking ship!

Update: After another hour of relogs and switching things up I was at least able to finally put some sort of clothing on. I'm still glitchy and smeared but at least I'm not naked anymore!

Ignore the fact that I look like what I would see if I were say..wearing beer goggles...Oye. I look like something from a horror movie. This is my face. It hasn't changed despite forcing rebake, clearing cache, re-logging and well.. yelling at my PC. (That really does help... yeahhh..)

I threw on the Truth hair from the last round of The Arcade- In darkbrownfade with the flower accessory from the purple hair in butter. I really need some sunshine so I paired it with the Jessy studded shorts from erratic in dip-bleached yellow. The shirt is an old long sleeved scoops neck tee but you can't even see it.. sigh. Did I mention we are expecting up to 10 inches of snow? In APRIL.

Shakin' off my blue mood! Hugs!

The First Time is always...

I've been a bit under the weather this past week. It left me in a funk but Berry always seems to toss out a new meme to perk me back up again. Let's get personal!

Sometimes it's the firsts that escape us or they might be the ones who shape us. DO you remember?

Meme instructions: Copy and paste the following 10 questions and answers into your post. Delete my answers and input your own. Don’t forget to link your post in this meme’s comments so everyone can read yours!
  1. First SL Friend: Mace. I was super awkward and stood on the sidelines. He "protected" me from some random griefer who was hassling me and pretty much set me up in SL.
  2. First SL Kiss: NO idea. I just remember I was wandering this Asian Port and I saw this dude "frozen" so I went over to investigate. I noticed this little pink ball in front of him and I clicked it. We ended up in a lip lock. It was a little shocking for me!
  3. First SLex time/place/partner: Oh lawd. Some guy named Jace. He was the first person I had met who owned his own property. I was super thrilled when he invited me to spend some time there. We bumped pixel nasties and then afterwards he gave me a pic of it...So I'd always remember. *Facepalm*
  4. First SL Partner/Girlfriend/Boyfriend/Wife/Husband: I guess my first boyfriend was Cappo in early 2008. If that even counts. Since then it's been all about GC. We "hung out" for a long while. We partnered and married around my RL birthday in late 2008. Oh yeah and we got RL married in 2011!
  5. First SL Job: I was a really horrible dancer at a club called Club Matrix courtesy of Mace's friendship with Cappo.
  6. First SL Creation: Oh jeaz. I totally remember this! I was staying with my friend Dellie and she gave me rez rights. After some intense work up and conversation on the 'how to's' I made a pixel sand castle. It was pretty much a bunch of squares piled together. I searched for a "great" sand texture and spent hours putting it together and even took pictures of/with/in it. I was so excited to show everyone in their little community rental. The next morning someone returned it to me :/
  7. First Encounter with a Linden: I was in the really crowded sim and noticed someone in the mini map with a different colored dot than everyone else. I ran around chasing it until I happened upon a Linden. I was too afraid that I would say something stupid and get banned so I just sat there staring like a nut case. Smooth moves.
  8. First Encounter with a SLebrity:I know I've probably ran into a million of them before I had a clue who they were. The one that most sticks out is Rosemary from Cupcakes! WAYY back in the day we somehow started chatting. I don't even know why or how but it led to a rl facebook friend adding. It's one of those things that happened in like maybe 2009? We are probably more chatty now than we ever were before. SO.. yeah. Okay then.
  9. First SL Sim you fell in love with: I guess the first sim I fell in love with was The Bay. It was the hangout where I pretty much lived full time for a long time. Later on my first actual home was in mainland Kasba. GC owned a huge portion of it and gave me my first skybox. The sim itself isn't pretty or interesting but it holds a LOT of memories until we decided we couldn't keep paying out so much money. I regret giving up what we had as one person bought almost all of the sim and has never updated it. We actually bought a parcel on the edge of the sim right north of it in hopes this chick will someday give up her hold on what I’ve always considered my home.
  10. First SL Blog Post: Before I ever started my blog I wrote for Pure Magazine writing monthly "Sartorialist" pieces. When the magazine ended I decided to continue it through blog form. I think I maybe did one actual continuing piece and then dove face first into cute fashions. My first post was a little introduction.
It's funny how most of my memories are from my earliest days in SL. I've had tons since then but those firsts really stuck with me.

Sorry now total fashion pics this week but I did want to show off my Tied Up hair from (epoque hair). Sometimes SL hair can be a bit overwhelming and well.. pageant-ish. I was totally digging the casual tones of this. It's got a lot of RL love.

Hope you all enjoyed another dose of realisms. Please feel free to share your own!

Rain on my Parade: My SL Pet Peeves

Oh lordy. Miss Berry has graced us with another awesome meme! I actually skipped last weeks "Social Media" meme because I was embarrassed to admit social media things tend to confuse the heck out of me. I had a plurk once and the only thing I ever said was "I suck at this"- so yeah I didn't have much to add. However... this week's.. hold on to your pixel panties ladies because unlike Miss berry who "poops rainbows" I tend to be full of piss and vinegar. I ALWAYS want to vent my grievances with SL so this is probably going to be my favorite post yet. Let's get to it then shall we?!

(In advance I'm probably going to ruffle some feathers. Sorries in advance.. or some such thing)

1. Tacky Decor

If you have ever read any of my back posts I have the WORST luck with neighbors. I always have that one person who insists on having blinging Christmas lights or sex pose balls right out in the open! I'm actually really harsh and judgemental about the way people handle their land. This is compounded by the fact that we recently went mainland after going premium. Right now my plot is located along the edge of the sim just north of my original home in SL. This person bought up most of our old sim and still has the SAME castle up that she placed about 5 years ago. After a lot of ugly views I've finally given into the whole sky box ordeal. But honestly.. even if you have like.. 0L there is NO excuse, in my opinion, to have cruddy homes or decor. You can find some great things for free or nearly that. There is always an event or hunt going on. If you insist on leaving you circa 2008 bed in my view, I insist on being witchy and mocking it. Sorry.

2. Voice Addicts

Voice can be fun.. occasionally. I have to be honest in saying I am not a huge fan of voice. You see, my Linux does not like SL sounds. So most of the time I can't even go to an event and hear your music , let alone carry on a voice conversation. I get super annoyed when I get invited somewhere and everyone else insists on using voice. I'm that cranky person trying to type at warp speed just to keep up with the conversation. For a while I didn't have a mic so i sucked it up. Eventually my husband bought me a new one- it was new and amazing and expensive. It worked for about 5 seconds.  Now I have to yell to have a conversation which is annoying to my throat and the people who happen to be around me in RL. I also hate people who get mean about me not using voice. Just because I don't want to hunt up my headset and get it all set up again doesn't mean you get to make me feel like crap. When you start to question if I'm a "real" female or act skeptical about my explanation as to why I don't use voice- it pisses me off! rawwwr!!! Equally annoying is when you insist that I go through the hassle and then you spend the entire time talking to someone in RL or reading other conversations out loud.

3. Lolas

I'm going to start with a big I'M SORRY. But OMG I hate the mesh boobs. They make me want to poke my eyes out. One- unless I'm mistaken I can not demo them. I'm not spending over 1k on something I don't know will even work on my shape. Two- they look so damn fake. I hate when I TP into a store and I see a bunch of Lola wearing ladies that all appear bare/grey/smeary chested to me. three- I hate that there are a million events for these things. What about us flat chested ladies?! and finally- Four- I thought I would check some stores to see what they were offering for them.. when i saw jizz, poop and blood I turned tail with a big "hells no". I know they are this big amazing phenomenon, but I abhor them.

4. Stores that fail to update Landmarks

I am totally one of these people. I forget to update but it always drives me insane. I can't count the number of times I've pulled up an old LM for a store or even tp'd directly from a designers profile and was : dropped from the sky, ejected from someone’s private parcel or trapped in between the walls of a new build. Thank god for  my Places tab or I would lose my darn mind.

5. Inflated Egos / Know-it-alls

In my time in SL I have met a lot of people. Between blogging, designing and previously working for a few fashions mags I've had the honor to meet some amazing designers and fellow bloggers. I love them all for their creativity and hard work. I dislike the ones however that have bad attitudes or overly inflated egos. Yes you made a truly amazing product, yes you can write a witty article or post. It doesn't make you a better person than me. Just because My photoshop skills are not as great as yours or in your opinion not how you like things to look doesn't make me any less awesome. I've battled divas who won a pixelated medal and think that means their poops smells like roses. Sorry I don't have to bow down to you. I always show respect where it's due but don't demand it. On the same note I have a hard time handling someone who thinks they know everything. If your sole purpose in iming me is to try to make me feel inferior, keep on walkin' honey.

End rant. I actually have a few more but those are my main bugs.

This picture has nothing to do with my post! Butttt... I went to FaMeshed and I liked it..
My hair and maxi dress are both new releases at the new FaMeshed. Yay I should be awesome and provide details but I am dead on my feet. The adorable pony is from Truth and the Maxi is Rebel Hope. I want all of these dresses the colors and details are fabulous.
