LOTD: Skinny Budget 4 Lisa Frank style

Afternoon lovelies!

Does anyone remember the awesomeness of Lisa Frank?! When I was a kiddo Lisa Frank was all the rage. Bright colors, awesome patterns.. stickers, stationary, you name it. It was all a pretty big deal if you had all the sets and such.

Anywho I was doing my normal blog snoop when i stumbled on the latest posting from Freebies for Cece. I won't lie I immediately reverted to a small girl and fell back in love with Lisa Frank all over again. The dress Cece was showing was literally something out of  the Lisa Frank handbook for adults. Loves.LOVES

I absolutely had to scoop this dress up and I was even more amazed to learn it was a FREE group gift from *CK* Crazy Kitty!!! I hopped on down and immediately my eyes were overloaded with bright funky color combos. If you are into that sort of deal... this place is for you. There are numerous group gifts, lucky chairs and prize things all around.

 

Because of the bright funky nature of the dress I kept everything else a bit simple this time around. I decided to pair it with the freebie item I have out at [Blossom]! 

Oh yeah...Remember I last mentioned I'd decided to make shoes? Guess what?! 

LOTD: Passionatly Pink

Hello my lovelies!

I've been holed up in my work station for a few days working like a mad woman! I finally dragged myself out to show you this adorable pink Mesh sweater Ricielli has out in the new TDR collection! Check it out!

Isn't it awesome! I am so so in love with the bright colors lately. I paired it with a past 50L Friday item from Whippet and Buck. And those shoes? Guess what... I have a surprise for you all!!!

*Deep Breath* I MADE these. Yep. Khloe is a shoe cobbler by night. These aren't available just yet but things should be up and running by Wednesday of next week!I'll be setting up on marketplace until I find someplace cute to sell! I have a few personal orders to get done before I go buck wild. Keep an eye out for [Blossom] on MP real soon! I have a few different variations and tons of awesome colors for everyone!

LOTD- Snuggles

Hello my lovelies!

Do you know what is absolutely no fun? I do! Being woken up at 5:30am by loud thumping, followed 2 hours later by the roofers you've been waiting for for over a month.

The upside to all this was we finally got our new roof! Coupled with a late night however makes this girl a lazy bum! I battled around for a while with some outfits that just didn't suit my mood. One of the things I've been disliking lately are some of my animations in my AO. I've spent a good deal on some gorgeous sweaters only to be unable to wear them because my arms/hips/butt get in the way. After fiddling, swapping and changing I was able to test it on this luscious sweater from {u.f.o}. The thick cable knit made me want to curl up in front of the fire with a good book and tune out the world! What do you think? Comfy weather cute?

I wasn't feeling jeans with this look and while it was nearly long enough to sport as a dress I just didn't feel to comfortable with that! We all know how snoopy some folks can be! Instead I paired it with the Heather Grey tights from Mon Tissu layered underneath a pair of thigh high socks. The perfect compliment to the look was the black leather boots I bought from [e] during the anniversary sale!

Just a little something short and sweet. I certainly recommend checking out the sweater if you haven't already. It comes in pastels and darker rich colors as well and is priced at an easy $180L! Considering it comes with re-size scripted and non scripted options it really is a versatile piece well worth the price!

I just wanted to share today's look with everyone. I'm not sure how I'm feeling about it honestly. Aside from the skirt I'm not showing much new or unseen.

I putzed around with the beige skirt and a blue sweater but the combo wasn't quite what I was hoping to be. Also it should be noted that this skirt is mesh. It comes with glitch pants and a mesh piece that is only between the legs to give that super tight effect. The mesh comes in two different sizes and there is a demo available for anyone still not sure of mesh fitting yet!

Mon Tissu I adore you

I've been enjoying the seasonal changes in RL a lot. It's the first time in a year I am not surrounded by palm trees!

I was super excited to check out the latest releases from Mon Tissu in-world last night! I'll admit I did go a bit overboard on purchases. I also snagged my look from the picture ad because it was so very Khloe. It's quite hard to tell in this photo but I gave myself a bit of a makeover as well.

As I've mentioned often I tend to change my look with the seasons just like in RL. With this in mind I decided to go a shade lighter on my skin than normal. I also went a few shades lighter on my hair. It's minor but it still feels huge! Check it out

Believe it or not these two photos were taken months apart. I chose to show the same hair and look in a lighter style to show the difference from then until now! I've had a few minor head shape changes over the months but have basically stayed the same. What do we think of the "new" me?

Whhheeeww. I'm calling it a day. This laptop I am currently using is horrible. It took me nearly 3 hours just to post this! I so miss my awesome computer. After a total of 15 crashes on SL I grabbed the least glitchy photos to work with.

LOTD- August 8th

Finally is you haven't heard of Mary Jane Shoes you probably live under a rock.  few months ago I had the pleasure of helping creator and owner Infiniti Mirihi with her very first fashion show! I adore her shoes and was so pleased to get to be a part of a very special event! You should also know Infiniti is SO so generous to her customers! She always has group gifts, hunts and deals going on  in her store. The shoes worn in the picture above are one of her most recent gifts. She graciously gave away the adorable Euphoric Leopard stilettos as a thank you for her group reaching over 3000 members! One thing that sets Infiniti apart from so many other designers is her original sculpts and textures. Quite often she will add hidden touches to her work to set them apart from the rest! Her attention to detail is amazing! Be sure to stop in as well and wear your new group tag as there are another pair of amazing shoes for you to grab as well!

LOTD- July 28th- Addiction

I have an addictive personality. If it looks good, smells good, tastes good or is just plain interesting I gotta have it/ do it. Take books for example. I spent most of my childhood with my nose buried in books thanks to my mom's obsessive reading habits. As I got older we bonded over shared books and stories together. She's been gone almost 2 years now (wow 2 years...man) and I'm still an addict for books.

As money got tighter I hung up my habit of getting books straight of the shelf in lue of checking books out from the library. With my 8+ books a week habit I suspect that they whisper about me behind my back!

This picture ties in a lot of my addictions. Nostalgia, books and free awesome clothing!


All clothes worn are from the generous gift Aikea Rieko from [The Plastik] this past Monday the 25th. Instead of receiving gifts and kind words on her RL birthday she was so sweet to see her adoring customers received something special! All you have to do is join the group (which is free!) and look in past notices! This goodie bag is jam packed with skins, dresses, separates and more!

Also if you are a reading nut like me you need to check out the Rockcliffe University library and Reference Center inworld. I had the pleasure of meeting a RL librarian who works for this inworld setup. You'll see new and past issues of well known magazines. Find published research papers, links to various informative sights and many other amazing things.
